On 25th January 2014, I joined the zed hair team on an outreach to kasisi girls and it was a great experience for me. The trip
was basically tailored to mentor and educate young girls on issues pertaining
to life, education, career choices and of course HAIR.
I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that the trend in my
country is to relax hair as soon as one is done with high school, the main
reason we do that is because we have no idea how to take care of our natural
hair and as we are growing up nobody really talks to us about the beauty of the
hair that grows out of our scalp: our natural hair!
